Personality: The good-natured heir of an old Pureblood family, Frank Longbottom is a simple fellow, a senior Auror in the year 1981. He's not your average Ministry drone, but he does like it quiet and is inclined to play peacemaker. Nevertheless, he's fiercely loyal and incredibly stubborn; he might refuse to use the Unforgivables and he might not join in a favorite Ministry pastime (Crouch-bashing), but he's no pushover. Frank's not a reckless or daring sort, but very determined and driven - this has led him to both victory and tragedy. Frank is apt to be kind and noble, but can sometimes be blinded by his own feelings. He is far from perfect, but his honesty and fierce loyalty have earned him a trusted position in the Order of the Phoenix.
Frank's wife, Alice, balances him and calms him. Alice is a Ministry healer; Frank, who's deeply interested in experimental Herbology, hopes to one day work at the Ceres Institute alongside his wife, helping develop medicinal potions and the like.
Frank and Alice have a small son, Neville. Like many parents, they're incredibly protective of him - almost paranoid, really. They have a good reason, though: Lord Voldemort wants him dead.
